I love you Dad.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,
So He put his arms around you and whispered "Come with me".
With tearful eyes I watched you,
and saw you pass away,
Although I loved u dearly,
I could not make u stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
God broke my heart prove to me,
He only takes the best.

There's not a day goes by when I don't think of you or want you right here beside me.
There's so much you've missed.
You have a new Grand-Daughter now - Temperance Alice - She is beautiful and I'm going to make sure she knows who you are and that you look after us all from Heaven.
Ken's Finally got himself married, You're Mum also made her way to Heaven too. I also moved to Scotland and I love up here, only thing is I wish you were here too.

You know you were my hero and you will be forever in my heart. I love you Dad.

A little poem for you.

For as long as I can remember
You were always there,
The head of all the family
Sat there in your chair.

You didn't always say that much
You didn't have to, we all knew,
You never ever missed a trick
Nothing got past you.

Now that chair is empty
My Dad has gone away,
But I miss him and his wisdom
Every single day.

I'll always love you 'cos you're my SuperDad!
